Men and women gathered from all over the state. If you looked closely, mayors, governors, and congressmen had all gathered here for a reason. They had conjoined for an important meeting: to find a town hero. “We need a promising hero—someone who is smart and brave, but also kind and passionate,” a mayor said. “Who can be the person who can fill the position of being that hero?” The governor sighed. “There is one person who fits all the credentials.” A representative stood up, with a file of papers in his hand. He opened a folder and began scanning his eyes over the paperwork. “This person’s heart is kind with compassion. “She’s also very passionate in what she wants to do. She has continued playing an instrument in orchestra for about nine years, and has volunteered to translate English to Korean for the past five years. This candidate also loves to volunteer at the Humane Society. We need a hero that’s not only helpful to the community, but also to the animals as well.” Murmurs whispered around the room. “That’s just not enough for a hero!” One protested. The representative continued. “Did I mention that this person is very supportive? Her friends mention that no matter what, she is there for them. Many people have agreed that she is that friend who stands up for others. When she believes that something is right, then she will support the idea with every effort. This shows that she can support the town and help us move forward.” “Then there is no doubt that she should be the hero of our town. She has great credentials, but just that won’t be enough.” The representative presented a document. “She will need to go through the best education she can get: which is why we should send her to University of Florida, where she can unlock her highest potentials and train her to be the hero our town
