How a candidate addresses an issue can either benefit them in positive manner or tear them down in tremendously, and because of that the candidate has to always answer the question with some sort of strategy. When in debate the candidate needs to not only be respectful to the other candidate to not come across negative and rude, but also the candidate need to keep in mind that it is a competition and that you want to win. Depending on the issue the way a candidate answers a question can vary from many different responses of the audience. Keeping the audience in mind the candidate wants to make sure not to offend the majority of the audience, because it may impact negatively in the voting. It seemed that the tone and the way they spoke towards and about each other depended on how much they agreed or disagreed with each other. Throughout the debate it was seen repeatedly that when at any point that when either Hillary or Trump disagreed with what the other candidate said by talking over them, when it wasn’t their time to speak which resulted to both of them arguing repeatedly throughout the debate. Although when watching the debate, you could see that when they agreed debate went smoothly which allowed them both to get more acrossed. Both candidates had both some strong and weak moments throughout the debate. Hillary was very consistent throughout the debate and didn’t really fall short on any topic, which showed that she was prepared and throughout the whole debate you saw the consistency. Trump however also had some very strong points during the beginning He was making some great points and was able to back them up, but after a while it seemed that he was lacking something towards the middle and end of the debate, because he seemed a little redundant. After a while Trump seemed to just repeat things over and over, avoid answering the question the mediator was trying to ask him.
