After playing softball for eleven years, I injured my back during my junior year high school season. It was my first season officially on the varsity team, therefore my devastated me. Although I was greatly saddened by this, I still stuck with the team. I went to every practice, game, tournament, and team dinner. I kept score at every game and helped my coaches with anything they needed.
Throughout the entirety of William Golding's novel “Lord of the Flies” the boys on the island change every day, and overtime they are becoming savages. When all the boys first met, they all relatively liked one another, and there were no serious grudges. However, near the end of the novel, the boys split up and hated each other, which evolved into violence and even murder. Especially Jack who ends up becoming an evil ruler controlling everyone and torturing them for no reason.
The Sports I play are Football and Basketball. I know and believe that I can do any sport or any classes. There was an incident this year that a kid fell in a gorilla pit at a zoo and a gorilla named harambae dragged him by his the kids leg, so the zoo had to shoot him. The Reason i think of having a good education is a good thing for life.
Lowry high school athletics have changed my life in many ways. It has taught me discipline, respect and how to handle my success and failures. High school athletics to me have been more than just time to miss school or just a thing to do to mess around with my friends. Athletics have already enhanced my career tremendously already. The first thing high school athletics has taught me is disciple.
I have played volleyball for six years now. Our volleyball season can revenue three months longer. This past season I was on the junior varsity team. In the upcoming season I will be playing on the varsity team. These teams prepare myself for my future because they help me learn how to collaborate with others.
I never thought that a trip to a soccer game could change my life drastically. Everything can change from one moment to the other and no individual sees it coming. My family’s plan was to go to our hometown’s championship soccer game. Needless to say we never made it there.
Sports have always been something I loved as a kid. I grew up playing baseball at my local YMCA and aspired to play professionally when I got older. My time playing baseball changed me into the person I am today. It showed me how to work together with other people and allowed me to make lifelong friendships. My coach from my YMCA days taught me the joy in playing baseball, and the opportunities that could come from playing baseball in the long run.
As a little boy I had big dreams of playing football. When I was walking in the halls of the intermediate and middle school and saw the high school football players with their jerseys on, they were like super stars. I looked up to them because I wanted to be like them. The high school football players were popular, they were happy, and they were important to the school. Going to the football games on Friday nights was the highlight of my week.
Home was not four walls, a bed, and a bathtub for me. Home was 4 bases, a glove, and a bat. Since I was very little, I have had a love for the game of softball. I started playing baseball when I was 9 years old, and then started softball when I was 12. I played recreational softball through my community; for 3 years, and travel softball; for 6 years.
One game left. The game that determines if you make it to the state tournament or not with 50 seconds left and I have possession of the ball. What do you do in a moment like this? Coaches are yelling in your ear to hurry up because time is running out. Best thought is to dribble up the side line and drive a big ball into the circle and hope that my teammates are there to put the ball in the back of the cage.
The same aggression to improve that I put into rising in ranks academically, I also put into my new sport of choice; Tennis. I have been determined to improve as a player and have thrown myself at any opportunity to do so. This drive has helped me transition from the bottom of varsity to the top-ranked male player and team captain both junior and senior years. I may not be playing baseball today, but I have taken the lessons I learned from leading my team and applied them to other aspects of my life, such as my position as Tennis Team Captain.

Growing up I was always considered much smaller than most of my friends. I was a lot skinnier and weaker compared to most of the kids my age. All through middle school and ninth grade it was like this. I saw this as a problem in my life because I had a very low self esteem and couldn’t feel comfortable in my own body. I was tired of how I looked and decided to make a change.
My sports experiences was great due to me playing varsity football all my four years in high school. I played football because it’s a passion for me, and I understand the game so much. Football, to me, was a dream to play at the next level or even to coach the game; at the next level. Since I wasn’t able to compete at the next level. I began to work on different material to help me coach the game at the level.
I have learned a great many things from participating in High school Basketball. It has changed my entire outlook on and attitude toward life. In the eighth grade, I was shy, had low self-esteem and turned away from seemingly impossible challenges. Playing Basketball altered all of these qualities.
