Back in the early 1900s, there was WWII, and along with WWII, there was the holocaust with the persecution of the Jews, Communists, and even Germans that were against the Nazi party. It was mostly comprised of the Jewish people, since all of the Nazi’s blamed the Jews for all the problems they were going through at the time. Jewish people around this time were killed, abused, and families were separated from their children and siblings. As a result, people were trying to help others. This essay is going to talk about how ordinary people can help one another, what is our role when people are being mistreated, and how can we can take action to do what is right. The first topic will be how everyday people can help one another. There are many things you to help others. You can help carry groceries for another person that needs help at the market. People can help stop this by having the right role. There are three roles, the Antagonist of the situation, the protagonist of the situation, and the watcher. The antagonist is the bad guy in the situation like the Nazi’s in WWII. The protagonists were both America, and the German people that wanted to help the Jewish people and got some of them out of the war. The watchers are the people that watch what is happening something bad happen and does nothing about it. This is what we don’t want to be. We never want to be the antagonist in the situation, but the watcher is just as bad because he or she is letting the event happen.
