In this essay I will,l be writing about Abraham Lincoln and how this President re-shaped the future and built an even stronger foundation for the United States of America. The first topic I will be discussing is Abraham Lincoln and just about his life in general to maybe where you can get to know him a tad bit better. My second topic is some important documents and legislation Lincoln signed in order to make the United States a better place to live in. Lastly, I will discuss how Mr. Abraham Lincoln still affects us to this very day. I hope this essay will further your knowledge of Abraham Lincoln. To show how much money Abraham had the house he lived in was a log cabin with one bedroom. Also since he was in such bad poverty Lincoln had little no schooling the only he had when growing up was three brief periods. Some of Abraham’s heroes when growing up was Henry Clay who also strongly disliked the spread of slavery. When Abraham became a teenager he spent most of his time at the library or reading some book. Eventually, once he moved away from home he started to read books of law and eventually became a self-taught lawyer. What is so astonishing about Lincoln Becoming a Lawyer is he had no schooling for it he completed it all on his own and the only thing he had to do that involved school was pass the examination to become a lawyer. He was starting to grow into an amazing adult. In 1842 Abraham Lincoln married Mary Todd who was also interested in Mr. Douglass who would later be one of Lincoln's rivals during his political years. Eventually Abraham and Mary had four children and this is where it gets rather sad Tad Lincoln died at the age of 18, I
