Archie Biggers: My Heroic Person

Have you ever been gotten and wanted to stop what you’re doing? I’m sure Archie Biggers did but he kept fighting through the pain to help others in needed his help. During the Vietnam war, Bigger was hurt twice but continued to help his men that were wounded. He refused medical attention until his men were cared for. He is a hero because even when injured he kept going for his men. This act of heroism showed he was caring and courageous.
Archie Biggers showed courage as he continued to fight the enemy while he was wounded. According to the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor “2nd Lieutenant Biggers was wounded when his platoon came under intense fire. Despite his wound, he led an assault against enemy position, forcing them to abandon that position.” This took courage to a new level. The courage it took to continue to attack the enemy while wounded demonstrated his heroism. Biggers’ courage is a inspiration to me.
