During Barack Obama’s Presidency” is how change effects the society as a whole. In the novel, John was brought from the Reservation to the World State and shocked all the conditioned people. John was brought to the new world and his presence shook the entire community as this was the first time the people had met someone from the outside. The change John brought to the World State altered the way the people thought and acted as he exposed them to new ideas.
