The gunpowder weapons weren’t strong enough because other empires could make more powerful weapons and could take over other empires. The Hims helped protect the Muslims by closing the gates of the city and guarding them. After they defeated the Byzantine army, they opened the gates and partied. The strong military forces helped defeat and conquer other surrounding empires in order to spread the message of Islam and Allah. As the evidence suggests, this impacted the growth massively as slowly many people began converting after seeing how strong, powerful, and devout the Muslims were. They learned how their beliefs could benefit them.
The early Islamic empire has expanded throughout the years and over time. Throughout the Documents I found out that the Islamic empire expanded by coming together and reunited. In Document A I found that the Muslims gathered gather together, the Greeks and their followers tied themselves together therefore none of them could run away. In Document C it says that they were granting of gifts which remained the practice of Muhammad which eventually institutionalized. I think that meant that Muhammad remained going toward established as part of the government.
During the time period between 600 and 1450 C.E. along the Silk Roads the spread of luxury goods, and the spread of diseases and pathogens remained constant(Ancient History Encyclopedia) (About the Silk Road), while there were significant changes such as the Silk Roads reinvigorating during Mongol rule, and the increase of long distance and interregional trade (The Silk Road and Arab Sea Routes)( History Repeating). During the time period 600-1450 C.E. the increase of population caused many things to stay constant because a large population demands of certain things. One continuity that occurred between dates 600 and 1450 C.E. was the spread of luxury goods. The reason for this continuity is because luxury goods were highly sought-after, so the people that made that good wanted to keep everyone depending on them for that good, which kept the constant flow of luxury goods (Ancient History Encyclopedia).
Between the years of 1450 and 1650, there was a period of time referred to as the “Age of Exploration”, in which the Europeans began to master ocean travel and thus migrate into newly found regions. The era before this was known as the “Post Classical Era”, which consisted of many dominant civilizations, such as the Mongol Empire. The Mongols were able to create such an authoritative empire because of their excellent, dominating army that consisted of superb horsemen and archers. They were highly organized and mobile, allowing them to become the largest empire known to man, acquiring much land throughout Eurasia. Since the Mongols had such a dominant military, they were able to provide protection along the Silk Road, leading to an increase
According to Wikipedia “After the three good Emperors, the remaining Emperors ruled badly and again wasted a lot of money and soldiers. In the west, the Europeans betrayed the Byzantines and attacked their capital, Constantinople. The Byzantines lost their capital in 1204 and they did not take it back until 1261. The Byzantines were then divided into many smaller Greek states that were fighting with each other for the throne of the Empire. ”Therefore which means that we don’t need to study byzantine because Byzantine empire collapsed by himself.
The Silk Road began in the 2nd century BCE with the diplomatic missions of Zhang Qian sent by the Han Emperor. The Silk Road was largely fragmented, commodities carried by merchants of many countries on the Silk Road from present day China to present day Turkey. The interaction of these different cultures created a cultural diffusion that can be seen in the resulting names, tools, jewelry, luxuries and house wares that these different societies adopted. Silk was one of the most important items traded along the Silk Road. Once the Silk Road was open techniques of weaving the silken thread did not begin to spread because this material was similar to that used by cloth weavers.
Sherman Alexie states, "There are all kinds of addicts, I guess. We all have pain. And we all look for ways to make the pain go away." Everyone experiences pain at some point, but people look for different ways to escape it. Sir Thomas Roe, an English diplomat and ambassador to Constantinople once said "The Ottoman Empire has the body of a sick old man, who tried to appear healthy, although his end was near." Definitely, the Ottoman Empire wouldn't stay strong and young forever. Due its fast and rapid success in expanding, having a strong court system, and having an efficient system of taxation, other great powers in Europe felt threatened. After all, if the empire was expanding and gaining much power quickly, it would be unexceptional for it to invade one of these great powers. Europe sensed the Ottoman jeopardy, so countries such as Britain, France, and Italy allied and plans were made to ensure the fall of the Ottoman Empire.
The development of Western Europe and the Byzantine Empire were different due to government, economies and religion. The Byzantine Empire was ruled by an Emperor instead of a King, while Western Europe was separated into different countries by the language spoken. Western Europe had social systems of feudalism in place to serve the people. Christianity played a major role in both of the developments of Western Europe and the Byzantine Empire. The Byzantine Empire was influenced by Romans, but Western Europe considered the Pope to be of high influence and guidance.

Europeans soon gained control over the Ottomans, just like they
The Mongol Empire is what links Europe and Asia during frequent, extended, and brutal conflicts between the East and the West. I took a 10-day trip through the Mongol Empire and the Silk Road. Starting from Rome and ending in Malacca, I learned quite a bit. The whole empire is rich with culture and history.
The Ottomas got very lucky with their geographic location. The Ottomans had control over Istanbul, Istanbul became one of the great trade centers.
