Since the end of Ancient Greece, there have been significant changes in the Western world. These changes include the rise of the Roman Empire, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, the Industrial Revolution, and many other events that have shaped the world we live in today. Modern Western culture was developed as a result of the new concepts, innovations, and cultural standards that each of these periods contributed.
