Elizabeth Jennings was a strong independent women, and she was very important. She created civil rights movement by illuminating to the world that difference is not important. Also, she innovated the way we treated the african-americans. She was on of the first people to take a stand, and she even came before Rosa Parks. Elizabeth Jennings created very important thing, called Civil Rights Movement. The civil rights movement was a mass popular movement to secure for African Americans equal access to and opportunities for the basic privileges and rights of U.S. citizenship.
