For ages, Ireland were full with the warmest people on earth. Friends and family are the most important thing to an irish person. Irish people put their families first at all times. Irish people believe that relationships with fathers and their children are getting better. Ireland has had good and down times since the early 1800s. From 1801-1922 Ireland was once under Great Britain Kingdom. Ireland was united with Great Britain. The Act of Union was an legislative agreement uniting Great Britain and Ireland under the name of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Ireland lost 25% of its population during The Great Famine. The Great Famine lasted for about 5 years from 1845 to 1849. Ireland had a mysterious plant disease that targeted their main crops, which were potatoes. Irish natives ate potatoes with every meal,breakfast, lunch, and dinner. When their crops suddenly stop growing they panicked and didn’t know what to do. Since only the potato could be grown in sufficient quantity area. Over 1 million people died from starvation. One of his best written stories were, “A Tale of a Tub”. Irish natives loved listening and dancing to dancing music. They loved to dance and hanging out at parties and events. Irish people loved their potatoes. They eats about 7-14 pounds a day per person. They depended on potatoes for every meal to go right. One of their most famous meals were the Irish Potato Bread. They sell their best meals in restaurants so tourist can try. For tourist that visit Ireland does not have to tip servers or pay tax on anything they buy while visiting.
