The United State’s second President, John Adams, began his political career by helping in the Continental Congress representing Massachusetts. Adams was very contentious, which is not usually a valued trait, however, it made him very well equipped to handle foreign politics. His main goal though, was simply to “advance the cause of the United States.” Adams was responsible for, and successful at, persuading the Dutch to grant the U.S. diplomatic recognition. His first major role in American politics though came in 1789 when he became Vice President to Washington.
“The Father of America,” one of Samuel Adams’ nicknames and even though he wasn't officially an American leader, he still got the name because he was the spokesperson for the rebellion. Jefferson’s Election, the “revolution of 1800” was not revolutionary in the sense of “a massive popular upheaval or an upending of the political system”. He did not beat Adams by a landslide or hugely impact society just by winning the election. When considering his election to be a revolution, he meant that America was finally going back to it’s old ways, back to the “original spirit of the Revolution. Jefferson did not agree with Hamilton, Adams or any Federalists views, he believed that they went against what the country stood for. The election of 1800 was justified because for once a president who represented “the common man” was in office.
Samuel Adams’ began to get more involved with politics and in 1760 he got more involved with the “new governor, Francis Bernard, and the actions of the lieutenant governor, Thomas Hutchinson”.(2015) As much as he despised Hutchinson, who was a member of the “Loyalist aristocracy” and was involved with trying to destroy his fathers finances to where he was on the path of bankruptcy he set those feelings aside so he have close ties to the governors. Common sense seems to say that actually Thomas Jefferson should be the President because of his contributions and respect he has giving to the public need. With all the hard work and dedication to the United States of America it is clear that Jefferson should be president over John Adams. The first reason is that Thomas Jefferson believes that all powers not delegated to the U.S. government should be reserved for the people.
Regard the backstabbing that happened between both Adams and Jefferson, the two elected campaigns is as a symbols to be marked and no one well in the history of America deny that .This decided the democracy of the country. We don't forget that it now appears
