Samuel Adams’ began to get more involved with politics and in 1760 he got more involved with the “new governor, Francis Bernard, and the actions of the lieutenant governor, Thomas Hutchinson”.(2015) As much as he despised Hutchinson, who was a member of the “Loyalist aristocracy” and was involved with trying to destroy his fathers finances to where he was on the path of bankruptcy he set those feelings aside so he have close ties to the governors. Samuel Adams began to spend more time with those who were involved with politics, he even attended meetings to involve himself in the political discussions.
