John Moses Browning was a very famous and gunmaker in fact, probably the best world has ever known. He was the son of Jonathan Browning, he was also a very good gunsmith. John Browning was born January 23, 1855 in Ogden Utah where his father settled after the Mormon Exodus of 1847. It was in his father's shop that John Browning first learned how to be a gunsmith and he pretty much mastered art of gunsmithing. John Browning was much more than a gunsmith he was revolutionary in the fact that he built modern new and innovative firearms that will change the world in many ways.
He was always more interested in designing and building new and innovative guns rather than repairing broken ones. In fact the very first firearm that he built was a single shot rifle he built when he was only 14 years old an age at which most boys are playing out in the yard he accomplished this with help from his brother, his brother's name was Matt.
