John Locke was an English philosopher born on the 29th of August 1632. He was raised in Wrington, Somerset in England where he attended the Westminster school and later on the University of Oxford. John Locke then proceeded to study medicine at the University of Harvard which assisted him with an immense role in his life. He ultimately became a significant philosopher and wrote on topics such as political philosophy and education, thus his writing came to aid in Western philosophy.
