Stalin was a viscous leader, some would even say he was more viscous than Hitler. He would destroy everything just to get what he wanted. Stalin was born 1878. He was abused by his father when he was young which made him as vicious as he was when he was the leader of the USSR. Stalin was awarded a scholarship to Tiflis Technological Seminary for education. (History.com, Joseph Stalin) He became a member of the Marxist Bolshevik Party. He became dictator of the USSR in 1929. He sought to liquidate the clergy and make himself superior. Made the USSR an industrial and military superpower. The USSR became a military power by building up the army and transforming it with all of his followers as officers. The USSR had many revolutions which made it into what it is today. Stalin was in the background of some of the revolutions, but changed the history books to make himself look more involved, like for the october revolution. The citizens had to be whatever religion Stalin wanted them to be. The USSR was shattered, the farms were ruined, and there was a drought. The people were hungry all across the nations and this lowered their trust in Stalin. Which brought famine. If Stalin disliked someone in anyway he would have them killed or imprisoned.
