Manichaeism is an ancient religious movement founded in Persia (now Iran) in the 3rd century AD. This religious movement was named after the Prophet Mani who was the founder of it. From the beginning, the Manichean Church was devoted to missionary activities which attempted to convert the world into Manichean. Mani, the Prophet, allowed and encouraged the translation of his writings and works into other languages. In his goal of converting the world into Manichean, he was successful.
