A scientist is a "person who is studying or has expert knowledge of one or more of the natural or physical sciences" and that is exactly what Maire Anne Paulze is. Most of Marie's accomplishments happened alongside her husband Antoine Laurent (Marie Paulze Lavoisier Facts). All of her contributions to the scientific community were long lasting, as well as important. Marie Anne Paulze was born on January 20th of 1758 in Montbrison, France. Leading to her learning from several tutors, coworkers of her husband, and her husband himself. Several things led to her contribution, however these are the foundation. Soon after her marriage she began learning basic Chemistry from her husband's coworkers (Paulze-Lavoisier, Marie-Anne-Pierette). This lead to her learning diverse languages, and mastering print engraving. Several records of her notes have been archived to show her and her husband's thought process. Her vast knowledge in languages allowed her to make an outstanding impact on the Chemical Revolution. She translated arguing theories of Oxygen related essays of scientists.
