Martin Luther King was the most important civil rights activist and baptist who was born on January 1, 1929, in Atlanta. Luther King´s work consisted in the problems of race relationships in United States, those realtionships were bad, because a lot of people were racist. This was his inspiration to continue fighting for human rights against oppositors. Also, when he was fifteen years old, he entered Morehouse College in Atlanta to study sociology. Then, he participated the segregation of African American citizens in the United States through speeches that projected deeper emotions and feelings about equality. As well , he performed in the creation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 , and the Voting Rights in 1965. finally he was murdered in 1968 by a racist , but he stills being remembered as one of the most inspirational people in the 20th century. …show more content…
This was helpful to promote non-violent protest, because he though that violence wasn´t the best solution.
