Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. one of the most inspirational people to live. He was born January 15, 1929 and was assassinated on April 4, 1968. African American people had been oppressed for years, being treated unfairly and as if they were worth less than a white person. Martian had a dream that one day everyone would be treated equally regardless of race. In 1955 he was recruited to serve as a speaker for the Montgomery Bus Boycott. Martian saw unfairness and he took a stand.
