Although many argue that Napoleon's impact was mostly positive because he consolidated the ten main states in the Italian peninsula into three kingdoms, abolished the monarchy, made everyone use the same currency, had no barriers between the states, built roads and streets in the states, and he installed new and different political laws to make it easier to become into a country as a whole,but the reality is that Napoleon was mostly negative for Italians due to the fact that he only wanted men for wars and money for himself, France, and his army to make them stronger ,more powerful ,and to help with him with his conquests.
