In the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, two star crossed lovers; Romeo And Juliet had a very suspenseful relationship that was affected by poor decisions made by themselves and others. In the beginning of the play Romeo and Juliet, Mercutio; best friend of Romeo. Is the one that leads Romeo to meet Juliet, at the Capulet party. The marriage between Romeo and Juliet which was performed by Friar Laurence really intensifies the play. Friar Laurence is just a kind priest that tries his best to help Romeo and Juliet throughout the play and performs their marriage. Friar Laurence thought that by marrying Romeo and Juliet the family feud would end and the families would end it once and for all. After he married Romeo and Juliet Romeo got banished because of killing Tybalt. And so Friar Laurence devised a plan to reunite Romeo and Juliet by using a special potion. And since Friar John didn't tell Romeo about the secret plan in time Romeo went to Juliet's funeral and then ended up drinking poison and committing suicide. So I do not think it was Friar Laurence's fault because he told Friar John he needed to get the message to Romeo quick but Friar John failed to do so.
The last character that made a huge affect on the family feud was the Nurse. The Nurse acts like a mother figure to Juliet. At the beginning of the play, the Nurse would let her go and see Romeo and told Juliet to follow her heart, when Juliet's mother, Lady Capulet wouldn't.
