13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments to the Constitution
Did the Amendments benefit the United States society? Well, Amendments are rules passed by the Congress for citizens, to follow in America. Three good Amendments are the 13th, 14th, and 15th Amendments. For instance, the 13th Amendment, abolished slavery. The 14th gave citizenship to those that were born in America. The 15th Amendment gave citizens the right to vote. Rules are necessary for everyone to follow and the Amendments are the rules United States has for its country.

This is one speech that will leave a thought in you r head well it did in mine. The speech talks about civil war that was happing at the time (1863), and his feelings for it. The Civil war was about the north and south slavery.
Abraham Lincoln wrote a hand written speech that changed slavery from cost to cost. He gave the speech on November 19, 1863. The Gettysburg Address, I don’t believe that was the ackshle name of the speech, but it caught on seen that was where he gave the speech at. The speech was written to the civil war and those who leaved in America during the north and south fighting on whether slavery should be embellished or kept.
I like that he said in his speech “Fourscore and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedication to the proposition that all men are created equal.” I also like that he doesn’t but it out their but he kind of tells them in +other words, he means how is it that we are able to fight side by side yet we cannot be Nabors. Slavery was still in battle well about. Abraham Lincoln was trying to tell everyone that was for Slavery and those that were against slavery that if we can fight together we should live together where all equal and our fathers should us that all man our like
