From the three documents provided, Documents A, B, and C. I think that the Early Islamic Empire expanded war, by truced, and rare peace. It changed dramatically. The spread of Islam from 632-661. The battle in al-Yarmuk was the fiercest and bloodiest of its kind.
I will be writing about how the Early Islamic Empire expanded. Islam expanded by Muslims invading other territories. This helps them expand Islam because once they invade; they take charge, and expand. This information is from Document A. Another way they expanded Islam was that they joined forces.
In 610 CE A man named Muhammad was outside of a cave meditating and soon began hearing voices. As he listened he heard them say “Give birth to a religion called Islam.” Islam began to spread faster than any other religion. Other religions disagreed with this because they didn’t want to believe that Islam was bigger and better than their religion. After about 140 years, many followers of Islam had created an empire that ruled the Middle East and spread across to North Africa to Europe.
The Islamic Empire was huge, large, and untied. The early Islamic empire expanded by fiercely attacking and conquering other lands, as well as uniting them. To start off, In Document A (which is reliable because it happens to be written by Muslim historian Ahmad al-Biladuri in the 800s) it talks about how they killed 70,000 people. Even girls helped in creating a bloodbath which shows how fierce and strong they were on a battlefield and how they easily took more lands.
In a map created from various sources, it shows how the spread of Islam relates to the military campaigns (Doc C). The map shows how the empire started in the Arabian Peninsula, then as the military conquests spread on throughout the middle east, the empire also spread along with it. These successful conquests are because other opponents of the empire weakened each other while the the strong, resourceful Muslim army carried
The early Islamic empire has expanded throughout the years and over time. Throughout the Documents I found out that the Islamic empire expanded by coming together and reunited. In Document A I found that the Muslims gathered gather together, the Greeks and their followers tied themselves together therefore none of them could run away. In Document C it says that they were granting of gifts which remained the practice of Muhammad which eventually institutionalized. I think that meant that Muhammad remained going toward established as part of the government.
The Islam religion, believed by Muslims, has spread across the globe at rapid speeds. Muhammad ibn Abdullah started the religion. The religion began in Mecca. The religion was made known in 610 CE. The two major themes of the religion are “Allah is the one God” and the importance of charity.
By 632, Islam spread throughout the Arabian Peninsula, By 661, Islam expanded towards Byzantine territory, and by 750, Islam expanded far east and far west. Throughout the different the rulings of each Caliph or empire, Islam began to grow more and more oversees. Each period of a certain rule, Islam increased their geographical rule to expand and educate the non-Islamic territories. “In the 636, the Byzantine Emperor Heraclitus (”hair-uh-kil-us*) gathered an army at the Yarmuk River in Syria to resist the expansion of Islam.” (Doc F).
The spread of Islam began when the prophet Muhammad received the word of god and believed it was his obligation to spread his religion. He gained many followers but eventually dies in the city of Mecca. By that time his religion already grew at an extensive amount, and soon Muslim empires were created, which extended Islam's political and religious power. Many factors such as trade routes and the person named Mansa Musa, contributed an enormous amount to the spread of Islam throughout parts of Asia, North and West Africa, and parts of Europe. The Islamic Empires did a lot of work themselves to help spread their religion.
The Muslim world expanded tremendously during the 1300s to 1700s. The Ottoman Empire and Safavid Empire were two out of the three empires that had significant changes during these time. Though the Ottoman and Safavid Empire contrast on leaders and ways they rule, they similar on their declination and cultures. In the Ottoman Empire, multiples leaders contributed to the growth of the Empire. Ghazis were warriors for the Islam that followed strict Islamic rules.
The Islam religion started in 610 CE by the guy named Muhammad when an angel spoke with him. ( Background Essay). After the words Muhammad received from Allah he started to spread the religion of Islam. He helped the people who suffered and who is need help. People heard what the guy Muhammad helping people, who is indeed.
The postclassical period (c. 600 to c. 1450) was marked by the rise and fall of various Islamic states, from the early caliphates like the Umayyads and Abbasids to later entities such as the Seljuks and Mamluks. The Ummayad caliphate was vast and under the rule of their caliph, the Prophet Muhammad, who had unveiled the Quran to the followers of Islam. From the Quran came the Shari'a, Islamic law, that all the Islamic states obeyed and followed. These states developed complex administrative systems and a sophisticated legal framework based on Islamic principles. Their governance being based on the shari'a united the entire region that the Prophet Muhammed had conquered for the Ummayad Caliphate for more than 6 centuries.
The Umayyads are still in control and they have begun to conquer new lands. Because of the Umayyads, the Muslim Empire expanded and they ended up taking control over much of Central Asia. The Umayyads controlled in North Africa from the Nile River to the Atlantic Ocean. They then moved northward across the Mediterranean Sea which is where they took control over nearly the entire Iberian Peninsula. The Umayyads ended up controlling lots of land with lots of people so they needed to start uniting and governing people.
Factors that Contributed to the Rapid Spread of Islam Islam was created in Saudi Arabia around the year 622 by the prophet Muhammad. The religion spread very rapidly. Many territories in the Middle East were under Muslim control by the year 750 — around 128 years after the religion 's creation. Islam is one of the major religions in the world today.
