More people died during the bombings than they would have if America invaded Japan. In Hiroshima and Nagasaki almost two-hundred thousand people were injured or killed. There are still people suffering the effects of the atomic bombs today. Many people that lived near the impact sites and survived have been entered into a radiation study.
Also, a lot of people died in both the bombing of NAgasaki and Hiroshima. A chart shows that 135,000 people either died or were injured somehow, and at Nagasaki 64,000 people were killed or injured, proving that there is no way every single one of those people hurt were military. Therefore, the bomb was an awful solution to an almost solved

Afterwards, the United States declared war on Japan, and joined allies against the axis powers. The United States’ use of the atomic bombs is justified because it saved American lives; Japan was given fair warning, and their aggressions towards the U.S. The atomic bombs on Japan saved many American lives. Document 15 reads: The entire population of Japan is
September 1, 1939, the start of World War II, regarded by many as the worst point in history. More than 85,000,000 people died in the years of 1939 to 1945. Adolf Hitler said something that sums up what the Germans were trying to accomplish during WWII, “Today Germany tomorrow the world.” Hiroshima and the Tuskegee Airmen are two things that greatly affected people and the war in general. Without Hiroshima and the Tuskegee Airmen the war may have ended differently.
One of these people was 16 year old Dennis Robertson, who was hit in the head with a brick in a riot after the bombing. This was a very sad time for all of the families of the girl’s. This day was especially hard for 12 year old Sarah Collins. She had lost an eye during the explosion.
Japanese Bombing The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki was necessary in order for Japan to surrender, save American lives, and keep the Soviet Union from expanding its influence in Asia. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, the U.S. held a conference in which they made it official that they were at war with Japan and ready to strike back as soon as possible. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki made the Japanese realize that they couldn’t afford another fatal bombing and cause innocent people to die again so shortly after the bombing, they surrendered to the United States. Soon after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the United States knew that they had to come up with a plan to invade Japan and force them to surrender.
Particularly Thousands of people died in both countries. The United States killed much more peoples in Japan, more than japan did. Japan was more scared of Russia would have no qualms about to kill Hirohito. The bomb was already created, there was only left to taste the bomb, but the bomb was needed to be used on anyone, and since Germany was out of the war, the most logic pace to use the bomb would be in Japan. The bombs were finally dropped in japan because at that time white Americans were racist, they didn 't consider the yellow japan as humans.
Wilfred Burchett, an Australian Journalist visited the once thriving Japanese city of Hiroshima, just one month after the devastating atomic bomb and did not approve of the devastation it caused. The bomb (little boy) was dropped over the city, killing over 70,000 people and injuring the same number. He was the first correspondent to enter Hiroshima after the bomb was dropped. “I was people in who … are dying … from these effects of bombing … They lost their appetites, their hair fell out … their flesh began rotting away from their bones” (Source A.).
About 215,000 people died in the immediate aftermath of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki atomic bombings. Radiation sickness and cancers caused by the nuclear blasts would kill tens of thousands more in the months and years that followed, Because of all of the radiation in the atomic bomb whether you were hit with it and survived or you weren't, the radiation is poisonous to the human body so most either got sick and died or some survived but we're left with something in their bodies being defective. “ Some of the stories are as tragic as they are remarkable. Yukio Yoshioka, who, aged 15 at the time, was 1.2km away from the blast's epicenter, had his molecular structure altered. The radiation modified my DNA and destroyed my reproductive system," he said.
These soldiers are fatigued and wanted the war to end, they did not want to fight anymore. With the atomic bomb it helped them, it ended the war. The bomb even ended the war quickly after the two bombs were launched at Japan. This bombing made it justified by the quick end to the war because we helped those soldiers who were hoping to go home from the first place after the battle against Germany. Besides other people wanted that war to end as well.
Many were scared because they had no knowledge of the bombing, they were threatened by the government. It says that they had no crimes held against them, however, they were sent away and locked up under the order of the government. They were the most public enemy with racist acts now pointing toward
These casualties all resulted from the explosion of the atomic bomb but there were a few different causes for the deaths. Of the total number of deaths, 25% died due to flash burns that resulted from a person’s exposed skin absorbing the radiant heat emitted by the explosion. Another 20% died due to radiation poisoning, as the gamma rays liberated during the fission process in the atomic bomb had many effects on the human body, among them a decrease in the white blood cell count and deterioration of the bone marrow, resulting in illnesses and severely weakening the body’s immune system. The remaining 55% died mainly due to secondary effects of the explosion, such as falling debris and the massive fire after the
The atomic bomb was a terrible thing. It killed 150,000 in Hiroshima and 75,000 in Nagasaki, plus many survivors became horribly disfigured from the intensive heat, and death from radiation is uncertain it may not kill the victims for days, weeks, months, or even years. (Although the bomb did save the USA from sending foot soldier to Japan, the Japanese were ready to surrender on terms that they can keep their empire and we had no need to use it). Japan was the first to feel the destructive power of the atomic bomb. Killing a quarter of a million people and costing two billion dollars of war replenish.
The social impact of the Hiroshima bombing was of all the people who died, and the buildings that were destroyed when the bomb
