The Nile impacted the agriculture, food source, their innovation , and religion in Ancient Egypt. Ancient Egypt was one of the most successful ancient civilizations. But without the Nile River Ancient Egypt would not have thrived. The Ancient Egyptians were very lucky to have the Nile River. The Nile River runs through the middle of Ancient Egypt, and it flows south to north, into the Mediterranean sea. There is lower Egypt and upper Egypt. At the end of the Nile there is a delta. (a delta is where it “fans out”) In Between the delta and on the edges of the Nile they farmed because the soil was very fertile.

Because of the Nile the Ancient Egyptians could make some useful inventions. The author states from The importance of the Nile video that “They made shadoofs and water wheels to help with irrigation and water supply.” In addition, The ancient egyptians made a shadoof to lift water from the river, and the water wheel was also used for raising water. So, they were able to get water with the water wheel and shadoof. They also made other things that they could use. “Many mud brick walls were enhanced along the Nile, also canals, dams, And boats.” according to The importance of the Nile River video.
