2.3 billion and 32% of the world’s population, christianity is the largest religion. Christianity’s founder is Jesus Christ in the 30 C.E. People who believe in this religion are called Christians and believe that Jesus died for their sins and brought them salvation and that he is the only way to heaven. Their sacred book is “Holy Bible” and it is divided into two segments, “The Old Testament” and “The New Testament”. Christianity has three branches: Eastern Orthodoxy, Roman Catholicism and Protestantism, each branch come with different beliefs, traditions and preachings. Christianity has influenced society because it encouraged women’s rights, science and the development of third-world countries.
