Teddy Roosevelt was the 26th president who served from 1901 to 1909. Teddy Roosevelt has taken many actions to address critical problems facing the nation. After Roosevelt has addressed the issue it has lead to a positive conclusion. Two issues that he resolved were how he averted a national emergency by dealing with the 1902 coal strike. Another issue is how he made Conservation of land a national issue.
He was a man that would not back down for anything. He stood up for what he believed in and what he thought the American people wanted. Theodor Roosevelt the 26th president of the United States was neither Democrat or Republican he did not believe in presidential parties because he wanted what was right for the American people as a whole. Teddy was a very active man constantly doing something like reading, hunting or boxing even while serving as president. A very energetic man that would drink a gallon of coffee every day so he was constantly wired.
After Theodore’s grandparents death he went on to be a cowboy for a few years. Theodore also was in the Navy before he was president. He regulated business, contributed to the conservation of the land, protected workforce labor, and improved civil progress in America. Not only did he improve the United States during his presidency but also during his times as a statesman, author, explorer, soldier, naturalist, and reformer. Roosevelt contributed during his time of presidency by regulating business and labor. The square deal was a part of Roosevelt 's domestic program in order to protect and conserve natural resources, business corporations/workers, and consumer protection.
