Theodore “Teddy” Roosevelt is viewed as one of the best Presidents in the United States, but how did he get such a reputation? Where did it begin from? How did he develop such character? The answer to all of these questions starts in his roots. Theodore was bred for success, from his father’s background, his education, and his moral/ethical views. Teddy would claim that his father is the one he loved “dearest on earth” (pg. 10), and that he is largely the reason for Teddy’s success.
