As Walt Disney approach its 50th anniversary which is a unique occasion. The company wanted to construct a ride that will be one of the largest Roller Coaster in the world. As a project manager I will prepare a report for the construction of roller coaster to the Company’s management includes the following.
Roller Coaster History
The main idea is born In the 1600s in Russia, where the huge blocks of ice that were fashioned into sleds, with straw or fur on the icy seat for passenger comfort were a natural roller Coaster. Later, more elaborate wooden sleds were built with iron runners to increase the speed and intensity of the ride these called Russian Mountain. Visitors from France saw these rides and took the idea back with them. The first wheeled coaster opened in Paris in 1804, and the coaster craze quickly spread throughout France

The company made radical changes in roller coaster design. For long time coasters were built out of wood, which limited the range of the loops. Disney introduced the Matterhorn in 1959. It was the first tubular steel coaster with exciting features such as; loops, a corkscrew track, and stability. The first successful inverted coaster was introduced in 1992 which is evolved to provide passengers riding in coasters with their feet dangling freely below as they circumnavigate the track.
