Why does police brutality happen. There has been multiple situations of police brutality. It has risen concerned around whether police do it on purpose or is it on accident. Cops are given the ability to help people but now they are ending lives. With that sort of power comes responsibilites, officers have a lot of power but, they should learn when to use power or when to use extreme force. The way officers use power should be used in certain situations but, all situations don’t need force.

I know cops have their reasons, some of the time you must be in their shoes to comprehend what they are thinking or what may be a danger to their life or others around the scene. It's showed that power is in some cases important to hold back criminals when they cross the line, or put the cops life in danger. Cops tends to think criminals that were convictied who perpetrate violations are wrong and shouldn't be given a second chance on the street, drives police to treat individuals of certain races differently. Some incidents of police brutality are so bad that it won't make it to the front page of the daily paper or to the news. It's without a doubt, that some cops should be put in jail for there wrong doing and there brutal beatings. The best way to stop police brutality is to stop the cops. Nobody should be harassed or threatened by police because, they're in a bad mood or going through things. We have the great cops and awful cops, around a small amount of those cops still go manhandling their power and abuse their authority. If observers weren't filming cops when they are using excessive force, numerous cases wouldn't be what they are
