How Does Shakespeare Create Problems In Romeo And Juliet

Every day, many people often find themselves surrounded by varying problems in their life which forces them to decide how they want to act upon those problems or if they’d rather try to avoid the problem. Often times, literature presents many problems and gives the audience advice on how to properly solve common and complex problems. Examples include—but are not limited to—magazines, the internet, and especially books. Books not only tell a story, but also teach the readers a lesson that the readers can relate to and then apply that lesson to their own life. This also applies to plays. A prime example of someone who incorporates problems and uses them to teach a lesson is William Shakespeare. In all of his works, he included problems—also known as social topics—to further enhance the play and teach readers

In a way, money can ‘kill’ a person’s soul. One of the causes of this is greed. Sometimes, people get so caught up in how much money and wealth they have that it just takes over their whole life. Once money becomes the focal point of their life, it’s inevitable that all that greed and money will consume that person. They will totally shut out other’s interests and focus solely on his/her self’s money and well-being. Shakespeare directly quotes the bible by saying that money is the root of all evil. This is the same in both the play and today’s society. One could say that in Romeo and Juliet, the cause of the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets could be money and greed. Both families were famously wealthy and it’s possible the feud started due to greed and the desire to have more wealth and power than the other family. If this is true, than money and wealth is directly linked to the deaths of the characters. Shakespeare used all of this to try and convey to the audience how corrupt and evil money
