Do you think technology is really killing our friendships or do you believe social media is letting us become closer and interact with more around the world? The issue in question is, is technology killing our friendship. Some experts believe that too much online communication can get in the way of forming deep friendships. However, other experts believe that online communication can make friendships stronger and help stay connected easily. The differences between the two has a heated debate involving all types of people, including teenagers and adults.Technology brings us closer together because we are talking and interaction with each other more often, and friends and family can stay connected, while allowing us to stay up to date with the people we encounter around us. Technology brings us closer together by talking more often. In fact, in many ways, online communication can make friendships stronger. There's definitely a position impact. From personal experience I've had close relatives and friends move away to North Carolina. Lauren Tarshis, in her article titled “Is Technology Killing our Friendships,” explains that you can keep in touch with a friend or family member that has moved away. With that happening I can use technology such as massaging, face timing, instagram, facebook, and etc. When we go long periods of time without communicating to our close ones we began to separate that is why I believe in the side that no, technology is not killing our friendships but only bringing us closer
