The Hindi movie industry has influenced daily life and culture in India for decades now. Nowhere else is there such devotion to cinema as in India (ONES TO WATCH). In fact, Bollywood movies are the basis of entertainment and almost a religion in the nation. For example, if you attend any Indian wedding then you will find the ladies attired in the finest garments modeled after Bollywood fashion, and guests dancing to throbbing hit songs during the ‘baraat’ which is wedding procession. Bollywood has for long exerted a deep influence on popular Indian fashion. Any outfit that embellish by an actor or actress in a hit movie instantly becomes a prime clothing trend for tailors to reproduce. The ready-made industry manufactures these clothes in bulk and the designs are named after the character or movie, so that public will come and buy the product that’s in their favorite movie or worn by their favorite actor/actress. Some say it has good influence because there are some Hollywood movies that are inspiring and teach us lessons. Also, sometimes, it gives young people their goal. Not only that, but some movies also take you to your past and make you to think about your future. Also, some people watch Hollywood movies when they are stressed, and hope to get refresh after watching a movie. But, most of the people think Hollywood has negative impact on society because the vast majority of movies produced in Hollywood promote violence. For example, if you go to watch a movie then you will see all kinds of violence and can even learn the ways to commit the crime.
