Albert Anastasia, The Fingerman The Albert Anastasia fatally murdered in a barber shop. His assassination, justified. On October 25, 1957 Albert Anastasia went to his barber shop with his bodyguard, however The bodyguard didn’t get his hair trimmed and styled but instead took a walk and left Albert, a claimed Cosa Nostra mobster, unattended. As he was sitting in The barber’s chair, two men burst through The doors with guns coming straight towards Anastasia. Anastasia supposedly saw them in the reflection of the mirror and immediately had a clue who they were, leading him to allegedly run towards the two gunman. But, instead shot down by the now hitmen. No one was charged for his murder. The information I read has led to the conclusion that his murder was very well justified. One reason to believe his case was justified was for his first known murder gang. The Government never had evidence of any murders said to be committed by him except for his first murder. And, the FBI had known of his lifestyle- such as been included in Murder Inc and what was called at the time, Mangano Crime Family.
