Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank both lived through the Holocaust. Elie spent most of his time at the concentration camp, and Anne in hiding. Although they had different experiences,it is obvious they endured many hardships; however, both Wiesel and Frank lived through life and death circumstances, but their lives ended so differently.
Elie Wiesel lived through Holocaust and went to Auschwitz, a concentration camp and was treated badly. Washington post states “when Wiesel was 15 years old, the Nazis sent him to Auschwitz. The concentration camp is in Poland. He was starved and badly treated.” Elie was sent to the camp and was starved. Biography.com states “in August 1944, a German secret police officer accompanied by four Dutch Nazis stormed into the secret amex, arresting everyone that was hiding there. They had been betrayed by an anonymous tip, and the identity of their betraper remains unknown to this day.” While in hiding someone who no one knows gave a tip to the Nazis and found where Anne Frank was hiding a secret police officer and four Dutch Nazis found them in a camp. After Anne Frank and her family got caught in hiding they were sent to Auschwitz.
Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank both died in different ways. The Wasington post states “ Wiesel died on July 2 at his home in New York. He was 87 years old. Biography.com states “Frank and her sister both came down with typhus in early spring and died within a day of each other sometime in March 1945, only a few weeks before British soldiers liberated the camp. Anne Frank was 15 years old when she died,she had typhus, it is a disease that can lead to death. Elie Wiesel died at the age of 87 because of old age.They both lived through Holocaust and went through situations but in the end only Elie Wiesel was able to
