What is Propaganda?
Propaganda is used to persuade people to do something but usually is biased information in order to be convincing. During the 1940s the U.S government produced posters, pamphlets, news feeds, radio shows and movies to support the war effort. In 1942 the U.S. government also made the Office of War Information(O.W.I.) to start a propaganda campaign for the war. The propaganda campaign was financing the war effort and unifying the public behind the war.
How Much did Propaganda Help?
The Germans had used propaganda to make others think that the Americans were nothing but enemies. The Americans used propaganda for something different though, they used it to get people to help support the war effort. The British did something
