Fitzgerald’s book The Great Gatsby is about Jay Gatsby, the love he had for Daisy Buchannan. Reading the book you find out soon that Nick Caraway is telling the story of Gatsby. Nick soon meets Gatsby and pretty much becomes his only true friend at the end. As Nick continues to tell the story, it starts to get very real, romantic, and very mystical. He begins to describe how Daisy’s character is and what she really wants in life. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s story of The Great Gatsby is very different from any other book. The main character is very unique and mysterious and really makes the book interesting. She is a very beautiful, dazzling, but also unpredictable and disinterested. Nick symbolized her as a careless person that smashes things up and retreats behind money.
