Short story One day. I am lucky enough to find my real mom in one day before I make a new start at college and leave everything behind. I still remember the day she was pried off my little fingers along with the screaming and crying. I was only eight years old but smart enough that mom had become an alcoholic and there were consequences to come. I haven 't seen her for 10 years now, but hopefully that is going to change since I am a legal adult today. The day that i make all decisions for myself. I start my new mature adult life by making my first decision to get ready, which I regret the minute I leave my bed.
