Growing up I have had many inspirational figures throughout out my life. However, one in particular has a had a larger impact on my life than most. It is someone that I still learn from and want to be more like. I grew up watching him and that is why if I can spend a day with anyone, it would be SpongeBob SquarePants. Hopefully in just the limited time of twenty-four hours I would be able to pickup on some of his greatest qualities. These qualities include his commitment to his friends, his ability as an entrepreneur, his strong work ethic, his refusal to accept failure, and most importantly his ability to be happy in almost any situation. No one can ever doubt Spongebob’s commitment to his friends. Spongebob is a natural entrepreneur. The ability to go out into an unknown market with a homemade product is something that I myself have always admired. I spend much of my free time watching shows like Shark Tank to try and understand how people do this. Spongebob himself has gone out in an attempt to be successful. SquarePants does not take a no for an answer. He keeps trying when any sane person would have stopped, and that is a mindset that breeds success. An example if this is his refusal to give on becoming a licensed driver. He has attended boating school for years taking test after test, yet never losing confidence in himself. In all, SpongeBob has failed his boating test 1,258,058 times. SpongeBob is an inspiration to everyone, failing is hard. Failing is one of the hardest things I go through. It must be used as a push to work even harder, not a reason to give up. Spongebob is one of the people who taught me this, and I am thankful for that. I would take time while we are together to teach him what I knew about driving. So just maybe he would become that much closer to
