In his career as an inventor\ botanist, George Washington Carver had many accomplishments. He was influenced by one of his teachers that told him that he should combine his love for art, science, plants and become a botanist. He has many important achievements like the 300 different peanut products he came up with. Certainly, George Washington Carver had many accomplishments throughout his lifetime. It is important to know that George Washington Carver had a great impact on our nation’s history. Some interesting facts about him are that him and his mom were kidnapped when he was just a few months old and they tried to sell them until a neighbor was able to get George back to there farm. He also found new ways to use Alabama clay and sweet potato. He was also the first African American to have a national park named after him. George died on January 5,1943 at the age of 78. The cause of his death was that he fell in his home on the stairs and because of complications like anemia.
