After the discussions, and comments that my group members have had. I realized that many of us in the group had similar ideas on our need for security, freedom, pleasure, acceptance, and power. Most of us found the similarity between our needs for security, voicing out our thoughts, and being able to feel safe when we do voice out our opinions. Hannah explained that she connected with Christina’s assignment because she is worried about saying something that seems to be uneducated or stupid, which may cause people in the group to judge her. Hannah adds that it is difficult for her to contribute to in person classes because she feels uncomfortable with the class. In this scenario, I notice that it is difficult for people to feel comfortable in classes, and it is very important to have a non-judgemental environment for this online class. In task 1, Christina, and Hannah noticed that they had similarities with their idea of feeling free. Christina explains her busy schedule, and that she needs to sometimes sacrifice her plans in order to do things she enjoys. This allows Christina to completely free like she has met her need for freedom. Fang also noticed a similar response of her idea about feeling free, compared to Hannah.
