In The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn the main character Huck is faced with many life changing decisions. This can be very difficult for him considering he’s thirteen years old and he was raised thinking slavery was morally correct. Miss Watson's slave Jim was a runaway, who caught up with Huck and took the journey down the river with him. Huck's’ best friend Tom Sawyer lived in a world where all his ideas came from books and fantasy. Even though Tom came back Huck fell into his old ways of being a child, Huck has gained so much from his experience down the river because he kept Jim a secret and he chooses Jim over his morals.
