The novel ``The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn``is his great novel,because it is based on real stories during Twain`s childhood.
Twain was the “one living writer of indisputable genius” in the United States (Gribben, 33). As Gribben describes:
“If he had never existed, if young Sam Clemens had succumbed to an early illness, as his family expected, or had he drowned in the Mississippi River, like several of his boyhood chums, then something in our literature would be tangibly missing, and we would know it.” (48); and continues:

He is a great realist and satirist of the late 19th century (Sang 632), and “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” is considered to be one of the greatest novels in American Literature (Shackel, 200). As Ernest Hemingway said: “All modern American literature comes from one book by Mark Twain called Huckleberry Finn.” (Twain, 2). The novel “The adventures of Huckleberry Finn” talks about a young boy Huckleberry Finn, who runs away from home to Mississippi River. There he meets a run away slave named Jim. This word may be related to an experience of happiness, journey, challenge, fighting, but this word in the novel ``The adventures of Huckleberry Finn``has two deep meanings: it means an exciting experience and risky action (Brovina,12). Mark Twain shows to the reader that adventure sometimes means to survive and live at the same time, like Huck and Jim do. Jim and Huck during their adventure experience all possible human emotions and feelings: happiness, sorrow, kindness, fear, laughs, love, etc. This is a very strong indicator to show that a human`s life can`t be just good or bad, it should be mixed in order to be a perfect life. The importance of the novel stands on that is that it treats very sensitive issues, that have importance even in now days. There are treated issues that readers in one way or another will find themselves, racism, parents’ mistreatment, the lack of empathy, antisocial behavior, humanity, nonconformity, shortly there are shown human actions in different approaches. But, in the novel is also explained and illustrated through the best examples of Huck and Jim, how to deal and how to treat the bad situations and people involved.
