To start off, human interactions can affect us by showing us the bad side of humanity. On the first day when Elie and his family are taken to Auschwitz he realizes how bad humanity really is and loses his faith. Wiesel states, “Never shall I forget that night, the first night, that turned my life into one night seven times sealed”(37). The first night changed his life so much when he watched so many people die.This also affected his life greatly when it came to his religion. The Nazis really show bad humanity really is during this. Elie even had to watch his mother and sisters turn into smoke. Elie also explained how bad it really was to be there. The text says, “This is what the antechamber of hell must look like”(Wiesel 37). This shows
