I really didn’t like Marina’s personality in the book and how she relies on god to make her decisions which I don’t personally like myself. Plus, I thought that they could add more exciting events in the story than what they have now in the book. Finally, I pointed out the reasons why I dislike the book so far but it’s still a pretty good book though.

John Hale gives us the knowledge of witchcraft and puritan beliefs, in the story, in order to decide whether someone was a witch or not, while Mary Warren assists Abigail Williams in the false accusations presented in order to alleviate the punishment they were facing for the actual practicing of witchcraft as well as dancing. In the story John Hale is intelligent while Mary Warren seems to want good, but is too nervous to take a stand on it.

Furthermore, Mary Warren's crucible developed over a period of time, and she faces one in which she has to choose whether she should end her crucible to save herself and pass her test, or fail and save the others. When the trials started, she lied about those who were convicted of being witches in the court and acted with the other girls. In The Crucible by Arthur Miller, Miller introduces the idea, apparent in today’s world, that sometimes people blame others to save themselves from punishment through the characters’ actions and the asides from Miller. The most prominent character that displays this theme is Abigail Williams. Several times Abigail pushes the blame on others when she senses trouble. When Parris finds the girls dancing in the forest, Abigail knows she has to do something to avoid punishment.
I disliked the story, actually I hated the story, I didn't find it interesting at all. When I was reading the book I found myself having to reread some parts of the story all over again because I wasn't getting where the story was going, basically I just wasn't interested, it wasn't captivating. The issues the book made me feel and think about where teen drinking, smoking, the use of teenage drug use and sex. I say this because throughout the whole book it seemed like drugs, alcohol and sex were the main source of the story which made me think the author was supporting teenage drinking, drug use and sex. I say this because the author didn’t include the consequences and effects that come with drinking, drug use and underage sex throughout

I cannot I cannot.” Rebecca Nurse, a character from The Crucible, is on the verge of being condemned to hand for witchcraft and is being pressured into admitting her identity. Character Analysis of The Crucible The Crucible is a play about the Salem witch trials, written by Arthur Miller. John Proctor is the protagonist character in the play. He is married to Elizabeth Proctor and they have three small children. Mary Warren was the Procter family maid.
The Roles of Females The Crucible is based on a community who believes in God and, believes a teenager should not cause any harm and follow directions. In The Crucible the teenagers had a huge role in the Salem Witch trails. Teenagers can be the blame when it comes to all the stuff that happened in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. The main girl to blame in the trail is Abigail. She told all the girls to lie, and if they didn’t she would stab them.
One common question about The Crucible is how Abigail Williams is the most evil force in the play. It is shocking when a girl talks back to authority out of disagreement, but few go as far as Abigail Williams. While she may only be 11 years old, her manipulative and vengeful personality allows her fool her Uncle and later turns a whole town against each other. She is really a master of manipulation and trickery, and she gets herself into affairs without punishment and has threaten all who oppose here. Abigail really is the devil in human form.
In this essay I will be discussing how Ai Weiwei and Felix Gonzalez-Torres have engaged with social or community based practices throughout their artwork and how their works relate to earlier movements of socially engaged art. Both artists have a strong political stance and use socially engaged art as a medium to raise questions and reach a broad (global?) audience. Firstly I will introduce Ai weiwei and Felix Gonzalez-Torres. Then I will examine Ai Weiwei’s work Sunflower Seeds 2010 and Gonzales-Torres’s work “Untitled” (Portrait of Ross in L.A.)
The Salem witch trials were a series of hearings and prosecutions of people accused of witchcraft in colonial Massachusetts.
