I disliked the story, actually I hated the story, I didn't find it interesting at all. When I was reading the book I found myself having to reread some parts of the story all over again because I wasn't getting where the story was going, basically I just wasn't interested, it wasn't captivating. The issues the book made me feel and think about where teen drinking, smoking, the use of teenage drug use and sex. I say this because throughout the whole book it seemed like drugs, alcohol and sex were the main source of the story which made me think the author was supporting teenage drinking, drug use and sex. I found that I could learn a few things from Charlie because he has been through a lot, such as losing his aunt Helen who he loved so much, even though she did him wrong. This taught me to always forgive and not live with hate over someone because it's just not worth
