I Have A Dream Speech By MLK Jr.

Diversity has played a big part throughout many years of life. Before the year 1963 when MLK Jr. gave his “I have a dream” speech, separation between genders and races played a really big role in the world 's society.

Different genders and races were separated almost in every aspect of the world. Whites and blacks were separated on busses, in movie theatres, water fountains, schools, and many more.

MLK Jr. did not like the idea, and then helped change the world to not be separate and be considered one after his world changing speech he gave in 1963.

Bringing males and females together of different races changed the aspect of the world. Races could drink out of the same water fountain, busses were not segregated, and the working industry grew tremindlisly.

I have been in a couple situations where me and my friend would stop into a gas station and the cashier would tell us that this is not the place that we need to be in.

Just because a different race that never comes into that store in that part of the town, that means that we aren 't allowed to be there or else something bad could happen to us just because of the color of our skin.

Being one of the freest countries in the world, people still do not agree of certain people stepping on “their” turf or town.

I wish that America would turn into a country of Freedom Writers. In the movie Freedom Writers, different gangs and races hated each other and couldn’t stand each other. Kids would sit in the same class but would separate themselves by either what race they are or what gang they are in.

These boys and girls would not be able to even walk outside without taking a chance of dying by another race or gang.

This one teacher then changed that by showing that every person is just like one another no matter what color someone 's skin color is. She showed that our country is free and should not be segregated and should be free just like the United
