Over the course of decades, America has been through many events that forever changed it as a whole. In most cases, change was made for the greater good, but other times not so much. While reviewing 3 history sections, it is clear that the U.S. developed and became more united through well thought out innovations, expansion, and visions that steered this country in the direction that it needed to be in. To start off, in section 7 there were new and advanced ideas that were introduced.
In the book one of the main points of the book was when Henrietta got diagnosed with cervical cancer. this is one of the main Contributing points of the story. The cervical cancer shows signs of unusual behavior of Henrietta cells because as stated by (Rebecca Skloot, 2000, p. 17) " Doctor Jones has seen thousands of cervical cancer lesions, but Henrietta 's was shiny, purple, and so delicate it bled when touch." As time went on Henrietta received her pulmonary results that stated (Rebecca Skloot, 2000, p. 27), " Epidermoid carcinoma of the cervix Stage 1." When Henrietta arrived at Hopkins University for cervical cancer there was a nationwide debate going on about the types of cervical cancer, there was three key people of the debate that was Doctor Jones, his boss, and Richard Wesley Telinde.
“Fear keeps us focused on the past and worried about the future.” The main character of the short story “The Terror” by Junot Diaz would agree with this because he is stuck in a cycle of fear after getting beaten up. He got into a fight with a group of brothers and was paralyzed with fear for a long time after that. The author uses the character's actions and his feelings to show that the only way to conquer fear is to stand up to fear itself.

Courage of the Fallen Angels For some people in war they they just follow and for some people they are the leaders but some are the ones that see their buddy fall right next to them and are to scared to run back and save him they just follow. But for the people that show courage the ones that doesn\\\'t let fear stop them they are the heroes the ones that take more risks to save a buddy from being killed. In the book Fallen Angels Peewee shows that kind of courage.
When FDR said, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself,” he explains when being afraid of something, one must face their fear. If one avoids it, it will stay with them and will not go away unless it is confronted. He is saying that the fear of something is probably worse than the event turns out to become. Furthermore, It is the weakness of the imagination that compels us to do the unimaginable—the unspoken. People must only be scared of being scared, as fear itself destroys them.
I was afraid. My body was afraid of another blow this time to my head.” This is a great example of fear consuming someone's mind. If he had not been consumed by fear, he could have planned a useful strategy to save himself and his father from getting beat up. Clearly, Fear can be more powerful than hope, as

Another major theme that is linked to fear in the novel is coming of age, courage and maturity. Through the use of different symbolism, Silvey shows the link between fear, courage and coming of age to express his ideas. “...I wonder if I’ll ever be without fear. But then I think of Jeffery Lu, and our discussion about Batman… Maybe it’s not about being without it.
People need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want." (73) This quote highlights that fear can hinder people from reaching their full potential, preventing them from making progress and reaching their full potential.. Don’t let fear become an obstacle; if you are capable, you will reach your goal. "We are afraid of losing what we have, whether it’s our life or our possessions and property. But this fear evaporates when we understand that our life stories and the history of the world were written by the same hand."
It is common to fear a challenge or obstacle that stands in one's way, Nelson Mandela's quote, "I learned that courage is not the absence of fear but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear" reminds us that true courage is not a lack of fear, but rather the ability to overcome it. It is not about avoiding fear, but about facing it head on and prevailing. The short story “The Terror” by Junot Diaz is a great example of the quote.

In summation, there are two themes that prevail in the book. The two themes are never give up and when the individual is scared to do something they can overcome their fear. The importance of never giving up is so people can achieve more and be satisfied. The importance of having courage is so

Celeste Ng’s Little Fires Everywhere explores the consequences of fear and desire and reveals that these two seemingly opposite concepts are related. While fear and desire can be polar opposites, they both prevent one from living their life to the fullest.
“Fear is a Hunter”- Alfred Frick. Alfred Frick, a person with a significant amount of self obsession, and the ability to build himself up to be someone he obviously is not. The refrain “Fear is a Hunter” hooks the reader by giving us a vague, yet important insight on Alfred himself. It could even been seen as foreshadowing, and causing us to think and ask questions. All the thinking and such helps you also develop a deeper interest in finding out who he is and how his mind works.
What does it mean to be a Prince? According to Niccolo Machiavelli there is various qualities that are needed to be a Prince. In the chapter, “The Qualities of the Prince,” Machiavelli list qualities a Prince must uphold to be considered a good Prince. In order to be a Prince one must know how to protect his state and people. Some qualities that he mentions are: being feared rather than being loved, being hated, being cruel, being generous, and being deceitful.
