My Search Story
Do you ever wonder what other nationalities do? Have you ever wondered about Albania. In my I- search work project I am researching about Albania. I researched about this topic because i want to learn more about myself as an Albanian, the culture; and something that i did or didn't know. What i know so far about albania is, some of the food they eat, daily activities and how they greet each other, desserts they make and what they wear for some occasions, holidays. For occasions in the text it says “they usually wear traditional costume clothes”. The holidays that they celebrate is Ramadan which begins a month of fasting at the end of the fasting period, Eid al-Fitr. They fast from sunrise to sundown. Eid al Fitr is also called small byram when families and friends come together sing and dance, play, play traditional music and feast on food prepared according to old family traditions, and we also go to our families home, stay for a little then get money and candy. In the book cultures of the world Albania it says “today Albania is emerging democracy struggling to adjust to a world its people were shut off from for 50 years. With More Albanians now living outside the country that within and Balkan Warfare raging all around Albania faces many challenges- economic, social and governmental.” This book answered many of my inquiry question even the questions i had in my head. It helped a lot with my research, especially finding the facts when i did not have internet. I found many facts to my 1-5 inquiry questions. I’ve gained so much knowledge about this topic all this research that i did has helped me understand something that got me stuck.
For my 1st question i had was Is Albania a safe country? During my research “Albania Frequently asked question guidebook” in the text i found that “Albania was separated from the rest of the world..
