From early on in my childhood I was certain that I wanted to pursue a job in the medical field, as I have a passion for helping others and a strong interest in medicine. Now that the time is here to apply for college, I have decided that I want to major in pre-med biology and then attend medical school with the aspiration of becoming a pediatrician. It is very important to me that I receive an exceptional education so that I can become the best doctor I can be. As healthcare is evolving, I find it detrimental that doctors genuinely care about their patients and use their expanding knowledge to treat them with utmost care. That being said, I have taken pride in maintaining a 4.0 the past three years while taking multiple rigorous honors and AP classes specifically in math and science. Some of my favorite courses have been Honors Human Biology and Advanced Health Science as they are pertinent to my area of study and challenge my thinking on a daily basis. By taking these difficult classes I will qualify for an honors diploma, as well as concentration diplomas in the STEM, Humanities, and Career Technical categories. Just recently I joined the HOSA club at CMR and I’m elated to compete at state on our top HOSA Bowl team as well as in the medical terminology event.
